Q: This is my first order with CPC Micro, what options do I have for payments?
A: For the first few ordered with a new client we accept the following payment methods: cash, debit card, email payment through your bank, certified cheque, credit card and Paypal.

 
 
 

Q: What email address do I send an email payment to?

Q: I have made a payment via Paypal or online through my bank, how do I know CPC Micro has received the payment?
A: Whenever you make a payment via Paypal or through your bank, please get in contact with your sales representative to let them know you payment has been made so we can verify and expedite your order.

 
 
 

Q: What if my cheque gets returned by the bank for non sufficient funds or for any other reason?
A: There will be a $20 charge for any returned cheques and it must be paid right away.

 
 
 

Q: Is there any charges on unpaid balances beyond the accepted time period?
A: Yes. Any unpaid balances would be charged at 2% per month (i.e. 24% per annum). Remember that the items would be the property of CPC micro until it is fully paid for.

 
 
  Credit Terms Policy  
 
 

Q: Can my company get credit terms right away?
A: Unfortunately we don’t offer credit terms for new accounts. We will be able to consider your company for credit terms after establishing a good business relationship. Also certain procedures have to be complied with before approving credit terms.

  Shipping  
 
 

Q: What is the cut off time for same day service within Ottawa?
A: Cut off time for same day shipping goes as follows: before 1pm for 4 hour service, before 2pm for 2 hour service and  before 3pm for 1 hour service. Keep in mind, the quicker the service the higher the shipping rate.

 
 
 

Q: What is the cutoff time for next day shipping service outside of Ottawa?
A: For next day service, all orders must be placed by 3pm so that there is time to package and process the order before it is picked up at 4pm.

 
 
 

Q: What are CPC Micro’s shipping rates?
A: The minimum shipping charge is $7. All shipping charges are calculated on the weight of the order and the service that is chosen. Please contact your sales representative for a shipping estimate.

 
 
 

Q: How do I check the status of my shipment?
A: Please call us at 613-249-9990 or email your sales representative and then we can provide you with a tracking number for your shipment.

 
 
 

Q: What happens if my products are damaged in shipping?
A: CPC Micro is not responsible for any damaged caused during shipping. Insurance is available through some of our delivery services, please contact your sales representative for details

 
 
  RMA  
 
 

Q: I am having a problem with a product I purchased from CPC Micro. How can I get this fixed?
A: If you have a problem with a product purchased from CPC Micro, please submit an online        RMA through the website.

 
 
 

Q: What information do I need to complete the online RMA?
A: The original receipt is mandatory for every RMA. Without an original invoice we will not be able to process RMA.

 
 
 

Q: I have just completed my RMA, how long should I expect to wait till I receive my replacement product?
A: The average turn around time for an RMA is 2 to 3 weeks.

 
 
 

Q: Do I have to have an RMA number in order to return a product to CPC Micro
A: Yes, you do. Customers must have an RMA number and have it written clearly on the outside of the shipping box in order for CPC Micro to receive the RMA.

 
 
 

Q: Can I get the money back for my RMA?
A: No. Unfortunately all RMA are replacement only. If a replacement is not available then a credit will be given for the price of the product.

 
 
 

Q: Can I exchange my RMA for a different item?
A: No, you cannot. You can only get credit for it if you are within the 7 day grace period. If the item is defective, we will replace it. If there is a physical damage or is in other ways unfit for resale, please call us immediately within 24 hours of receiving the item or contact the courier to issue a damaged goods claim.

Q: Will CPC Micro pay for the return shipping of defective items?
A: CPC Micro is not responsible for manufacture defects. We simply obtain merchandise from distributors and ship them out to our customers. All shipping charges for defective items must be paid by the customer

A: You can return a product purchased by mistake under the following conditions:
1. Yes, if the non-defective product is in the original packaging box unopened, in resalable condition and within 7 days of the original purchase.
Note: This excludes all special order items
2. No, if the non-defective product has been opened.

 
 
 

Q: It has been 3 weeks since I processed my RMA and I haven’t heard anything yet, what should I do?
A: After 3 weeks feel free to contact the RMA Department directly at 613-249-9990, just ask for RMA

 
 
  Technical Service  
 
 

Q: Can I bring in a system for service even if it was not purchased at CPC Micro?
A: Yes. For all technical service there will be a labour fee. The fee will be based on the type of service your computer needs. Please call or refer to the Technical Service tab on the menu at the top of the page for our service rates.

 
 
 

Q: Do I need to book an appointment for technical service?
A: No. If the work needs to be done in a timely fashion then a call ahead of time is always good to help us schedule the work. Keep in mind all technical service work is done on a first come first serve basis. Rush service is available at $65 per hour.
